by · December 2, 2011

Have you already started listening to Christmas carols on 103.5? Have you been watching the “25 Days of Christmas” on ABC Family? Have you gotten around to thinking of menorahs, driedels, gifts, and parties? How does last year’s ugly Christmas sweater fit?

If you fit into any of the categories above or even if you just want to hear some great holiday music, the choir Winter Concert is the event for you. Head to the Tesoro theatre on either December 15supth/sup or 16supth/sup at 7:00 p.m. to see Men’s Choir, Concert Choir, A Cappella, and Madrigals perform holiday favorites such as Springsteens Santa Claus is Comin to Town, The Beach Boys Little Saint Nick, the Carpenters Merry Christmas, Darling, and a vocal arrangement of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker. The concert set also includes songs sung by various soloists from any of the choir groups as well as a vocal jazz arrangement of “Jingle Bells,” performed by the Tesoro Chamber Singers. After a successful fall concert, this concert is sure to impress, but hurry! Tickets for Friday night are already completely sold out!
