No Victory for Volleyball
Tesoro Junior Varsity Volleyball girls practice good sportsmanship by congratulating Mission Viejo for their efforts on the court after their defeat.
At home, Tesoro Girls’ Volleyball lost to Mission Viejo on Tuesday, October 19. The Junior Varsity girls’ score was 0-2.
“The JV girls worked really hard against Mission and it’s a shame they couldn’t pull through to win,” junior Laura Liegler commented.
Her sister, sophomore Lindsay Liegler also added, “I’m so mad we lost Mission! We’ll get them next year.”
The varsity game was very close with a score of 2-3. Varsity volleyball senior Carly Bates said, “We played hard and pushed ourselves but didn’t quite make it. Fortunately, we redeemed ourselves against Laguna Hills on Thursday.”
