In the early hours of the morning, when most people are sound asleep, the Tesoro Surf team is wide awake and catching some brisk 65° waves. Their 5:00 a.m. practices have contributed to their victories against Capo, Aliso and San Juan, leaving the Titan Girls at a record of 5-0 and the Boys at a record of 2-2. “For me, it’s a special routine of yoga and a playlist of songs that helps me get ready for a day of surf,” said junior Brynn Appel. With our Tesoro surfers’ unparelleled zeal for the water, it’s no wonder we have such a dedicated surf team. It’s not just skill; it’s passion, love, and commitment.
